Matching Scenes to Music

Today we played around with sound, and adding it to scenes from current movies. I have already done a previous blog about how music is used to cut scenes to a beat and this is me creating my own.

It was very interesting learning how music can be used to cut scenes and add great effect on the audience. For example if you was cutting to a heartbeat noise it would build a great deal of tension because the noise can be associated with horror movies, also it can give a kinda silent treatment to a movie although the noise is still there.

I used scenes from DeadPool, and American Sniper to create and action packed and very tense scenes from the films. In some areas I have made some areas from editing, when Negasonic Teenage Warhead shuts the door was a little off and could do with a slight tweak. Most of my cutting and scene changing has worked, but some areas obviously need improvement.

The scene where DeadPool claps his hands were perfectly timed and so was the scenes in American Sniper when he shoots the little boy and the Women.
